Pizookie

Giant pizookie platter from Bj's in Tanforan.  The 6 of us almost finished it, not quite.  The cookie is very sweet.  I think I ate a little too much because I felt a little sick afterwards.

Warriors

Went to the Warriors game in Oakland tonight with church friends.  Was a close game during the first half, but they lost it bad the last two quarters sadly.  Also, food at the Giants' baseball park is much better.

Little Shanghai

We went to Little Shanghai Restaurant for dinner tonight.  This is the Mongolian beef dish with onions, and chile.  Quite good, however the baking soda or some type of meat tenderizer could be tasted.  They put just a little too much this time.   

Ipod

By now, many have heard about the new Apple iPad today.  Above is my iPod touch.  I don't think I would use the new iPad.  My laptop does everything I need it to.

Animal Crackers

These are organic animal crackers from Trader Joe's.  Interesting taste.

Pathophysiology

Today I bought my semester II nursing books.  The one above is Pathophysiology.  That's a mouthful.

Sandwich

So I dropped by Little Lucca's in Burlingame and got a sandwich.  so big.  Bacon, ham, and turkey with pesto and chile sauces.

Crepes

So my family and I went to visit my brother at his college.  We went to a crepe place up there for lunch and this is what my meal looked like.  The crepe had shrimp, bell peppers, squash, a pesto sauce, and was sprinkled with parmesan cheese.  Potatoes were also included.

Vans

These are the shoes I wear.  Easy to put on and take off.  Yea, I'm lazy when it comes to tying my shoes.  Not the best shoes for my flat feet.

Orchids

For Mother's Day last year, I bought my mom an orchid.  Since then, our family has gotten two more.  They are quite colorful, and also easy to maintain, which is the primary reason these flowers are still alive.

Soymilk

For all of you who are lactose intolerant, this is what I drink.  Tastes the best hot.

Sprinkles again

This is my fairly successful attempt at strawberry cupcakes with the Sprinkles Cupcakes recipe.

Sorbet

The tart flavors in this Haagen-Dazs lemon sorbet are quite unique.  The bold lemon flavor is undeniable Haagen-Dazs.  I wonder if it's made with real fruit.  It's fat free too.

The Elephant Bar

So I had lunch at The Elephant Bar in Burlingame.  I had soup, sandwich and salad.  The soup of the day was spicy chicken soup, which was not very good.  The waitress did exchange it for tomato soup, thankfully.

Chicken Feet

Talking about having a foot in your mouth.  I'm not a big fan of the chicken feet served when I get dim sum with people.  Eating feet has never interested me, and I do not care for chewing off the skin and fat around bones.  There isn't even any real meat on it.  Gross!!

Mittens

Mittens, my dog is a Australian Shepherd, golden retriever mix, and yes, Mittens can be a dog's name.  She is definitely a crazy dog, and she loves food.  Too much.

Coca Cola

Coca-cola.  It's a favorite beverage of mine.  Used to be made with cocaine, hence the "Coke" name.  However, caffeine is substituted now.  Diet Cola tastes terrible.

This is my macbook pro, which I sped way too much time on, especially during my school break.

Cookies

the other day I baked two dozen chocolate chip cookies, homemade.  The good thing about cookies is that you don't have to worry about over mixing the dough.  That is not the case with cupcake batter.

Pho

Had lunch at Pho Saigon in San Mateo today.  Large seafood noodle soup -- the best.  I get this dish 90% of the time.

Chili's

Today I went to Chili's for lunch,  I ordered the mini pork and shrimp tacos, which looked great.  I was disappointed, however, as they did not taste very good.  Rubio's definitely has better tacos.

Pie

I went to Heidi's Pies yesterday and had a slice of lemon meringue pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Delicious.  I also found out that strawberry pie is not in season until March.  Darn.

Chipotle

Had Chipotle for lunch. Above is the chicken burrito. What I love about Chipotle is that all their produce is fresh and their meats are all from free-range animals, no antibiotics.

Guitar

This isn't my guitar, it's a friend's. I wish I had a new guitar. Taylor makes great guitars. My brother got one. Expensive though. When I finish school and get a job.

Bucca di Beppo

For tonight's dinner, we traveled to Bucca di Beppo, an Italian restaurant with family-sized portions. This is one of the large roasted peppers cans on which they balance their thin-crust pizzas. The homey ambiance creates an atmosphere that is family-friendly.

Sprinkles

Inspired by the red velvet cupcake I discovered at Sprinkles Cupcake store in Stanford Shopping Center, I decided to try and make my own. They were delicious, especially the cream cheese frosting.
